2. Purpose

BRSTM Player ("the service") is a free web application to play BRSTM audio files that users bring themselves from their device or their Google Drive account, and to organize them into a personal library. The site also includes informational pages about the format and tools that run in the browser.

Using the player requires an account and is also governed by the terms of use. The processing of personal data is explained in the privacy policy and the use of cookies in the cookie policy.

3. The service does not host or distribute music

The owner does not host, sell, distribute or make audio files available to the public. The files that are played are provided by each user, read in their own browser from their device or Google Drive, and are not transmitted to the service's servers. Only the data needed to display the library is stored there (album and track names, playlists, favorites, history and preferences).

Each user is responsible for holding the necessary rights to the files they play. Our position on intellectual property and how to report a possible infringement are in Copyright.

4. Intellectual and industrial property

The application's own code, design, logo, texts and illustrations on this site belong to its owner, except for third-party components used under their respective licenses and listed in Credits & licenses. Their reproduction for commercial purposes without authorization is prohibited.

Nintendo, Wii, GameCube and any game titles that may appear are trademarks of their respective owners and are mentioned for descriptive purposes only. BRSTM Player is an independent project and is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by Nintendo. Game data and images shown in the info panel come from IGDB.com and belong to their owners.

5. Liability

• The owner strives to keep the service running continuously and securely, but does not guarantee it will be free of interruptions or errors and, to the extent permitted by law, is not liable for any damage arising from them.
• The owner is not responsible for the content of the files users play or for any use of the service that breaches the law or these conditions.
• Links to third-party websites are provided for information only. The owner does not control those sites, is not responsible for their content and has no relationship with them unless expressly stated.

6. Applicable law

This legal notice is governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be submitted to the courts that have jurisdiction under the law; if the user is a consumer, those of their place of residence.
